I create art around what it means to live in this space & time, to me. About the illness & the medicine. An experience of uncovering.

The truth is: I just want to live in a fun world. But I was told the story early in life that it would be difficult to get there in the world I was born into. Homelessness, food insecurity, medical injustice, emotional abuse, educational neglect, these are words I know personally. All laid across the road leading to my 'fun world'. Like knocked over hundred ton trees. Too heavy to move from the path to the fun life I desire. Throughout life I’ve yelled at these trees, and even tried to harm the trees already laid lifeless, and as you might suspect nothing had changed. Headed towards self destruction in this way. Until the day a mirror was placed before me. The tree was not the obstacle, it never was. It was who had been cutting these trees before my path that I needed to go find. It was those who had accepted the trees as law that I needed to come help move them. It was then that I stopped fighting a battle I was never meant to fight alone. Propaganda is what has convinced us that the trees will always be in our way. It was those who create the propaganda who have cut the trees. We were fed defeat. But when will we realize we can choose our meals for ourselves?

I create the antidote to remove the blindfolds of complacency, the boundaries of a sucker, the shackles that teach the gratitude of misery.
